I served my time as a press toolmaker, but worked mainly in small jobbing shops as a fitter/turner.  I finally worked in maintenance with a bit of vibration analysis. 

Now that I have retired, I aim to work for myself on a part-time basis in engineering. I've aquired a vibration meter and a laser alignment kit so I hope that's enough to keep me fairly busy
